Frequently asked questions about the ADA's Elevate Leadership Conference.
What is Elevate?

Elevate is the ADA’s new leadership conference designed to help you gain the leadership, business and communication skills that you weren’t taught in dental school.

When and Where is Elevate?

Elevate will be held Friday, March 28 at 7 PM to Sunday, March 30, 2025 at 12 PM ET, at the Marriot Marquis Washington, DC.

How is the program structured?

The program includes live workshops, expert-led sessions, networking opportunities, and hands-on exercises to help participants apply leadership concepts in real-world scenarios.

What kind of networking opportunities are available?

Elevate includes intimate breakout sessions, immersive activities and receptions with opportunities to connect with peers and leaders.

Friday reception: From 7-9 PM Light appetizers and drinks to kick-off Elevate.

Saturday Experiential Activities: From 2:30-4 PM you will have the opportunity to join one of the immersive activities that we have planned or you may take this time to relax and explore D.C. on your own.

Saturday reception: From 7-9 PM Elevate attendees get exclusive access to the skating rink and pickleball courts at Kraken Kourts & Skates, including courtside cabanas to gather and socialize. Appetizers, desserts and drinks are provided.

Are meals included?

Breakfast and Lunch will be provided on Saturday, March 29 and Sunday, March 30.

Appetizers and refreshments will be provided at the evening receptions on Friday, March 27 and Saturday, March 29.

Who can attend?

Elevate is open to everyone. Including, but not limited to, dental students, residents, dentists, and members of the dental team.

How much does it cost to attend Elevate?

Registration for Elevate is $1,499 for dentists and dental teams.

The student and resident rate is $199 with the discount code. Please contact us for the code if you are a student or resident.

You are responsible for coordinating your own travel and accommodation.

Do you offer payment plans?

At the moment, we are not offering payment plans for Elevate.

Can I register onsite?

You can register onsite, but we do encourage you to register early to ensure you can participate in the whole event.

When and where can I pick up my badge?

Registration is in the foyer of the Marquis Ballroom on Meeting Level 2 (two levels below the main lobby). Registration will be open at the following times: Friday 5-7 pm, Saturday 7 am - 5 pm, and Sunday 7-11:30 am.

I can no longer attend Elevate, can I receive a refund for registration?

If you can no longer attend Elevate, please contact us to request a refund, less a $50 processing fee.

How many CE credits can I receive?

You can earn up to 7.5 total CE hours for your participation in Elevate.

How do I verify my CE?

Your CE verification will be added to your ADA.org account within 10 business days following the closing of the conference. For any questions, contact us at dental_ce@ada.org.

Do I have to attend the entire conference to receive CE?

Yes. Partial credit is not awarded for Elevate.

I am also attending Lobby Day; will my hotel accommodation also be covered for Elevate?

Anyone attending Elevate, including those attending Lobby Day, are responsible for coordinating and covering the cost of their hotel accommodation at the Marriot Marquis, March 28-30.
