Description of Course Content, Educational Objectives, Teaching Methods:
As a volunteer subject matter expert, you will learn item writing best practices in order to help create valid, reliable, and fair test questions. With the assistance of ADA test development staff, test constructors are asked to complete tasks such as reviewing items, item writing, and/or providing associated stimulus materials (e.g. photographs, clinical images, radiographs, case materials, 3D models). You will contribute to the continued excellence of your profession by sharing your valuable knowledge and expertise. Your contribution helps ensure that health professionals possess the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to practice safely, thus ultimately helping to protect the public.
