Course Description
Explore incorporating lasers into your practice with this course on laser and light-based technologies in oral healthcare. You will gain a comprehensive understanding of laser science, safety protocols and soft and hard tissue applications. The course, perfect for dentists and dental hygienists, includes interactive discussions, hands-on experience with various laser technologies and guidance on implementing lasers into daily clinical care. You will also learn how to effectively communicate laser procedures to patients.
The first day will be filled with lectures and instruction to familiarize you with laser technology. On the second day, you can choose to do the hands-on portion of the Live Workshop in the morning or in the afternoon. Both sessions offer the same material and guided practice. Take the early session, and then enjoy downtown Chicago in the summer or sleep in and finish your workshop experience in the afternoon. It’s up to you!
