American Dental Association is "Best in Class" for its Benefits, Compensation, and Employee Experience

Gallagher recognizes ADA for excellence in optimizing employee and organizational well-being

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

CHICAGO, December 10, 2024 — The American Dental Association (ADA) has been named a Best-in-Class Employer by Gallagher, a global insurance brokerage, risk management, and consulting services firm. This recognition highlights the ADA’s benefits, compensation, and staff well-being programs, which stand out among other high-performing organizations that support employee health, financial security, and career growth.

The distinction comes after the ADA’s participation in Gallagher’s 2024 U.S. Benefits Strategy and Benchmarking Survey, which explores how mid-size and large employers strategically invest in employee well-being and engagement. The Best-in-Class Employer designation helps current and prospective employees understand and appreciate an organization’s workplace culture and people strategy, which are crucial differentiators in today’s competitive labor market.

“The ADA is honored to be recognized as a Best-in-Class Employer. This accolade underscores our commitment to creating a supportive and dynamic workplace, where our team members can thrive personally and professionally,” said Raymond A. Cohlmia, D.D.S., executive director of the ADA. “We believe that a healthy, confident, and growth-minded staff is the key to our organization’s success and sustainability. Being Best in Class is a testament to the culture we have built together.”

As a Best-in-Class Employer, the Association earned points based on its performance in several key areas, including its benefits, compensation, and wellbeing strategies; use of human resources technologies; turnover rates for full-time staff; and the completion of a workforce engagement survey. ADA’s offerings to employees include comprehensive health plans, flexibility that enables work-life balance, and programs to help them plan for their futures.

“The ADA provides robust total rewards offerings to employees, which include professional development and recognition opportunities that further strengthen our teams,” said Judith Fleeks, the ADA’s chief human resources officer. “We are thrilled to be celebrated for creating an empowering work environment where staff feel appreciated. We are committed to continuing our efforts to lead and innovate in this area.”
