CHICAGO, October 19, 2020 — Rudolph T. Liddell, D.M.D., a general dentist based in Brandon, Florida, was recently appointed as a trustee of the American Dental Association at the ADA FDC Virtual Connect Conference 2020, a joint meeting of the ADA and Florida Dental Association.
Dr. Liddell will serve on the ADA Board of Trustees as the trustee from the 17th District, which is comprised of Florida. The ADA Board of Trustees formulates and reviews policies and programs and makes recommendations to the members of the ADA’s governing body, the House of Delegates. As a member of the ADA Board of Trustees, Dr. Liddell will play a crucial role in supporting the ADA’s vision to achieve optimal health for all.
Dr. Liddell has held a variety of leadership positions within the ADA over the years, serving as a member of the House of Delegates, as well as the chair of the ADA Council on Dental Practice. In addition to his ADA leadership positions, Dr. Liddell also plays a prominent role within the Florida Dental Association (FDA), most recently serving as FDA immediate past president and previously serving as FDA secretary, trustee and more.
Dr. Liddell has owned a general practice in Brandon, Florida for 37 years. After initially attending the U.S. Military Academy, Dr. Liddell received his Bachelor of Science degree in engineering from the University of South Florida before obtaining his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry from the University of Florida College of Dentistry. Additionally, Dr. Liddell is a member of many other professional organizations, including Florida Dental Association, West Coast District Dental Association, Hillsborough County Dental Association, American College of Dentists, International College of Dentists, Pierre Fauchard Academy and Florida Academy of Dental Practice Administration.
