ADA Code Revision Committee
Requests for changes to the Code arise from members of the profession, third-party payer organizations and other interested parties. Review and action on requested changes takes place during the Code Revision Committee's (CRC) periodic meetings. The CRC is comprised of equal representation from third-party payers and the ADA. Six third-party payer organizations represented are: America's Health Insurance Plans, Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, Delta Dental Plans Association, National Association of Dental Plans, National Purchaser of Dental Benefits. The ADA is represented by six dentists in practice appointed by the President of the Association.
Code Revision Committee (CRC) Meeting Notice
The CRC has completed its work on version of the Code effective January 1, 2011.
The next cycle, leading to the version of the Code effective January 1, 2013 is underway and the next CRC meeting is scheduled to convene at the ADA Headquarters on February 11–12, 2011. During this meeting the CRC will address requests received by October 1, 2010. The inventory of requests to be considered in February 2011 will be posted by 30 days after the batch closing date.

CRC Meeting Reports
