The American Dental Association and the Journal of Evidence-Based Dental Practice are committed to Evidence-Based Dentistry and support the second Champion Conference. The goal of the EBD Champion Conference is to recruit local clinical and academic leaders and develop a network of dentists that will serve as a resource to their local dental communities by promoting the application of an evidence-based approach to patient treatment and prevention of disease. By attending this Conference, the EBD Champions will learn how to implement an EBD approach to dental care, and how to fulfill their role as EBD Champions by formally and informally disseminating information about EBD to their colleagues.
