Innovative focus on providing access to oral health care for underserved around the U.S. and the globe—one dentist at a time. The first annual, “Passion, Purpose and Practice” workshop will be held on Saturday, May 10, 2008 at Columbia University Medical Center in New York City. This year’s topic, “Creating an inspiring practice with positive social impact” involves opportunities for dentists to develop plans for social entrepreneurship initiatives, as well as to explore volunteer opportunities with over 40 local and global health care initiatives represented at the workshop.
