ADA Resources for the New Dentist Member

You have made a serious commitment in time, energy, and money for your dental education. But, how successful you'll be as a practicing dentist depends on more than just your textbook knowledge. The ADA is the professional organization of and for dentists who are collectively committed to the public's oral health. It offers a comprehensive range of services and benefits specifically for the professional and personal life of dentists. Membership in the ADA and your state and local dental society can help you protect your investment.

This booklet offers highlights of the benefits that serve the unique needs of recent dental school graduates. There are many others offered by the national ADA, and your state and local dental societies offer even more. Working together, organized dentistry helps you as an individual while advancing the profession and the public's oral health as a whole.

Call your state or local dental society for membership information. If you are in a graduate program or with the federal dental services, call the Department of Membership Information at extension 2607. Reduced dues are available for recent graduates.
