Doors open: East Carolina University officials cut the ribbon Oct. 12 on what is being called one of its “most significant buildings in recent years”—Ledyard E. Ross Hall, the home of the School of Dental Medicine in Greenville, N.C. “I’m fortunate to be able to help the dental school,” said Dr. Ross, the retired orthodontist who donated $4 million to the school. Dr. Ross and his wife Alta (above left, center) cut the ribbon on Ross Hall. Dr. Greg Chadwick, ECU dean and a past ADA president, is fourth from right.
