Leadership day planned for annual session
Orlando, Fla.—Are you interested in learning more about becoming more involved with organized dentistry? Unsure of where to begin?
Plan to attend a unique networking opportunity, hosted by volunteer leaders from the Alliance of the ADA, American Association of Women Dentists, American Dental Association, Hispanic Dental Association, National Dental Association and Society of American Indian Dentists on Saturday, Oct. 9, between 12:30 and 3:00 p.m. on Level 3 of Orange County Convention Center, South Building, adjacent to Room S330E.
This free open house is designed for dentists and their spouses to explore volunteer roles in organized dentistry through informal discussions with their peers who have leadership experience at the local, state or national level. It's part of a new program, Leadership Day at Annual Session—A Networking/Educational Forum for Leaders and Aspiring Leaders, which is sponsored by Cadbury Adams, makers of Trident sugar-free gum.
"With over 45 years of leadership in chewing gum science, Trident has led major breakthroughs in understanding the role of chewing gum in oral health," said Dr. Doris Tancredi, vice president of Well-Being Strategy and Regulatory Affairs, Cadbury. "It is only fitting that Trident support Leadership Day at the ADA annual session, and we are thrilled to partner with the ADA on this outstanding event."
