2013 DQA Conference

The Dental Quality Alliance (DQA) hosted a conference titled “Improving Dental Quality Through Measurement” on June 28-29, 2013, at the ADA Headquarters Building in Chicago. This conference trained 125 thought and opinion leaders in dentistry who commit to promoting the implementation of measurement to pursue common goals of quality improvement in oral health.

 DQA Conference Objectives

  1. Gain knowledge on the need for and the goals of measurement to support quality improvement.
  2. Examine emerging trends in quality, patient safety, and leadership across the dental care continuum.
  3. Review measurement techniques necessary to develop and implement quality improvement projects in dentistry.
  4. Develop strategies for successfully leading and influencing healthcare improvement through measurement in dentistry.
