Minnesota Dentist Installed as ADA Trustee
CHICAGO, October 23, 2012—James K. Zenk, D.D.S., a general dentist based in Montevideo, Minn., was installed today as a trustee of the American Dental Association (ADA). Dr. Zenk’s installation took place in San Francisco at the ADA's 153rd Annual Session and World Marketplace Exhibition.
Dr. Zenk will serve on the ADA Board of Trustees as the trustee from the Tenth District, which represents Minnesota, Iowa, Nebraska and the Dakotas. The ADA Board formulates and reviews policies and programs and makes recommendations to the members of the ADA's governing body, the House of Delegates. As a member of the ADA Board, Dr. Zenk will play a major role in the ADA's organizational objective of being America’s leading advocate for oral health.
Dr. Zenk is a past president of the Minnesota Dental Association and has served in the ADA House of Delegates. He also served as president of the Minnesota West Central Dental Society.
Dr. Zenk earned his dental degree from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry, where he continues to volunteer as an adjunct faculty member.
